Writers Workshop
During this week students record reference information
Review what makes a good paper
  Nine Writers Workshop
Students focus on writing their first required pieces of the ten genres in their paper.
A research piece, a newspaper article, a piece of fiction, and some poetry.
Students are free to interpret their research in any number of creative ways.
  Ten Writers Workshop-
  1. Hand write all drafts on lined paper, using every other line, and place them in the 2nd section of their notebooks.
  2. Students conference with students about their draft.
  3. Students conference with their teacher about their draft.
Drafts Must be approved by the teacher before they can be typed.

Students without computers at home get to use computers first, students may work before or after school on their projects.
